La Reunion Fencing Academy has been formed to foster the Olympic sport of fencing on the local, regional and national level.  The Academy will offer classes and practice for fencers, both youth and adult, who wish to learn and compete in this sport. The Academy will also hosts clinics, seminars, camps, tournaments and other specialized training.   La Reunion will help sponsor and support fencers to compete in tournaments and events at all levels.  The classes and training will open to all persons regardless of race, religion, sex or religious affiliation.  The Academy will also seek to develop programs in areas where this sport has traditionally not been available and specialized programs for disadvantaged youth.
